Principle of Operation for the Cheese Molding Machine
Cheese is introduced into the hopper of the weighing apparatus. Thanks to the presence of two spirals within the cheese molding machine’s chamber, it advances toward the weighing section while retaining its structure. During this phase, the machine chamber is heated to the dough’s temperature, preserving its integrity. Within the weighing section, there is a cutting blade system and weight tubes. Here, the dough is funneled into the weight tube, and once it reaches the desired weight, it is precisely severed using a cutter knife.

Technical Specifications of the Cheese Molding Machine:

  • The cheese molding machine’s chamber is heated using hot water and features an internal steam coil. Our specialized steam system eliminates the need for continuous water addition to the chamber. An integrated heat probe, connected to the chamber, ensures automatic temperature control via the electrical panel.
  • The entire machine is constructed from AISI 304 quality stainless steel. All surfaces that come into contact with the product are coated with high-quality Teflon, while other surfaces are meticulously sandblasted. For reduced friction and prolonged durability, the cutter blade slides are made from pure Teflon.
  • A pneumatic piston drives the cutter blade’s movement.
  • The gear system responsible for spiral movement is custom-made by SPIMEC. A single motor drives the simultaneous motion of two helixes. The chamber housing the spirals is sealed with a gasket channel cover, ensuring a food-grade seal.
  • The electrical panel of the machine complies with IP 65 protection standards, making it impervious to water and steam. It houses a motor driver responsible for the operation of the helix motors.
  • Safety precautions are taken for the machine’s moving parts, and protective barriers are enhanced with safety sensors, preventing harm to the operator.
  • This machine offers the capability to portion products ranging from 200 grams to 2 kilos.
  • The cheese molding machine comes with a range of options. While the standard model features PID control, various capacity-specific models are available to meet different demands.
  • Models with PLC control, servo systems, 4 pistons, and rotary tables can also be manufactured.
